Dealing with Anxiety – The Mindful Way

Online Course, Self-paced learning

Key Workshop Details:

Introduction

Mindfulness has long been recognised as an effective approach for enhancing to mental wellbeing by teaching practical techniques to manage life’s challenges. Research has demonstrated its efficacy in relation to anxiety and depression and various other mental health conditions, by creating more awareness of the different symptoms and the way we deal with them. Mindfulness teaches us to become more aware of the  present moment and to re gain control over  negative thought patterns.   This course will specifically focus on the application of  mindfulness in relation to  anxiety.

Participants will have the opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of anxiety, its underlying causes and associated symptoms and to address the  impact of old and deep-routed core beliefs on the development of anxiety.  and how these hold us back from reaching our full potential.  These beliefs often hinder personal growth and limit one’s potential. Through this course, you will learn evidence-based interventions to integrate mindfulness principles into daily life.

The program will also include structured opportunities for self-reflection, which can help reduce rumination and excessive worry. Additionally, mindfulness techniques will be introduced to address emotional dysregulation and persistent anxious thoughts. Participants will acquire practical strategies to manage stress, emotional overwhelm, and challenging situations more effectively.
