Focusing is a self-help tool that teaches us to be with our own sensations and feelings so that we can clarify our emotional reactions to certain situations. This would be called ‘The Felt Sense’. Focusing gives guidance to holistically find the source of fears, anxiety and negativity in our bodies.
It is a skill that can be used with any issue that may occur in life. Focusing can be used for personal and spiritual problems and can be combined with art, writing, movement, healthcare, education etc. Focusing sessions can take place as an individual or group treatment or can be taught in groups, where people are interested to work with clients. Training is provided by a Certified Trainer of the Focusing Institute, USA.
