Colour Therapy
Also known as Chromotherapy, colour therapy uses colour to stimulate the mind and the emotions, and is recognised as having a positive impact on mental health and wellness. Different colours are known to have different effects on the body. For example, green is considered to have a calming and restorative power, while red would be the opposite in that it has an energising effect.
The colour blue is soothing and relaxing and a good support for study and learning. Colour therapy can be conducted both individual and in groups. Different people may respond differently to colour, which is why each individual session or workshop is geared towards findings the best fit for each client. Colour therapy can be combined with other therapeutic approaches.
